A Loot Shoot

Every Tuesday is my Thrift Day and I eagerly look forward to it especially because my mom and I spend it together.

I swooned when I found this pair of lamps!

I can't get over this gorgeous shade of green.

 The marks look promising too!

I pick her up about 9:15 and off we go!

I can never resist framed butterflies

And this was a large one

We have our routine and look forward to making our rounds.

I'm beginning to amass a nice collection of Eiffel Tower bottles.
I found the perfect place on my nightstand for the lovely porcelain cherry blossom tree.

In fact at our first stop we meet the other "regulars" as we take our place in line.

I love this Whiting & Davis gold mesh scarf and look forward to the occasion where I can wear it.

We greet each other with hugs and kisses and happily chat away until the clock strikes 10 and they let us in the door.

Remember those black elephant hair bracelets?
This one is sterling silver.

We compare our scores and oftentimes I learn a lot from the more seasoned shoppers.

I couldn't believe my good fortune when I found this pair of charming paintings.

I found the perfect spot for them the minute I got home!

It's like old home week, once a week!

My friends know not to call me on Tuesday!

I have a weakness for leather bags...

 This was a great find!

 Definitely a keeper!

It's one of the highlights of my week.

 And last but not least...

Possibly one of the prettiest oyster plates I've ever seen!

So I was thinking that maybe I should start posting a regular LOOT SHOOT, highlighting my fresh finds each week.

Loot Shoot is the perfect name for this weekly post!! You have such a great eye! I love the paintings and oyster plate. I had my very first oyster (raw) in France, at an open market, last April. What a day! Can I join you sometime on this loot hunt? Been hoping to for some time now, but still want to do it!!!
Cheers and happy hunting,
Barbara

Great finds. The paintings are truly charming. I like the idea of a little collection of ET bottles. I have one. Guess I need to be on the watch for more.
Enjoy the weekend!
