Don't forget to moisturize

YOUR WOOD!

Last week it hit me that I have not oiled our butcher block countertops for ages.

So, I cleared them off, dug out the butcher block oil and went to town!

The wood around our sink and faucet gets really wet, so I poured a generous amount of oil here and let it sit for a long while.

But I didn't stop there...

I tackled the bread and pizza boards next.

And then it was on to the wooden utensils.

Boy were they thirsty!

I think I'm starting to nest for Fall :)

Wonderful reminder to moisturize and restore the beauty in one's woods and collections of wooden objects. Your images are beautiful.

Such a great reminder. I have a walnut paneled den and try to moisturize it every fall...about that time...

Terri It sounds like it! Your wood was thirsty and of course you have an abundance in your collections!
