But ... to plant an orchard, to enlarge a dwelling, to be always making life more comfortable and convenient, to avoid trouble, and to satisfy the smallest want without effort and almost without cost. These are small objects, but the soul clings to them.

When I came across this quote recently it totally resonated with me.
I had just recently re-organized this storage closet in our garage where I store extra sets of china and decorative accessories.
It has been quite a while since I have even opened it.
I always get the urge to spring clean this time of year and tackled it with relish!
It really didn't take me long and the result makes me very happy, hence the quote.
It really is all about the simplest of things,
wouldn't you agree?

No-one is better organized with their stuff than you Terri! and I love that quote, may I take it? It covers what so many women seek to do, day in, day out.

Love the quote! Would you come clean my closet please!!
I love that quote too. It is the simple things, right? I wish I was half as organized as you! But I've been spring cleaning myself, purging and organizing. The simple thing that made me happy was sprucing up the house with live plants. ~Delores
Beautiful quote Terri and yes I agree. It's about getting your ducks all in a row and knowing everything is right with your world.

You are not the only seasonal cleaner. I got out everything in my linen closet, every last pillow slip, sheet, towel, everything. Bleached, washed, starched, ironed, folded and stacking like together I tied each stack with a pink ribbon. Scented soap is tucked in between the stacks. Doesn't everyone?
