Repousse

REPOUSSE

Shaped or decorated with patterns in relief formed by hammering and pressing on the reverse side.  Used especially of metal.

My favorite find of the week.
7 sterling silver repousse knives.

I love repousse! I have a pair of 16th century lamps in my dining room that have repousse faces/fronts and I love them. Those knives are stunning!

I love those knives, they'd be great in a setting in which everything else were totally simple. Even modernist! Good eye there.
