Dim the lights...

Did you know that you can dim your Christmas tree lights?

Several years ago before I discovered screw in lamp dimmers on for the love of a house blog, I was hooked on the DIMMA Cord dimmer switch from IKEA.

I've since swapped them all out for the aforementioned upgrades except for one which we use every year to dim our Christmas tree lights.

If you've never adjusted the lights on your tree before, you are in for a treat!

Maybe I'm spoiled but I never have any light source that can't be dimmed and our Christmas tree is no exception.

It makes all the difference in the world!

Try it, you'll see :)

I knew that you can and have yet to do that, I am just like you, I love a soft ambient light, maybe I will see if Dougie can finagle his way behind the tree and plug it in for me!! Probably should have thought of that before it was all decorated, lol,

OMG, if there is anything I hate it is hideous overhead lighting. Right this minute I'm having new switches installed on every cove lighting, recessed can lighting in this house.
Thanks for this !!
