NANTUCKET HOME
Last week I found myself in the charming town of Chico, Ca.
I haven't been there since I was a teenager and have been wanting to visit for some time.
I have several friends and relatives whose children attend Chico State and have raved about this idyllic northern California hamlet.
Unfortunately, I had a business meeting that took most of the day and therefore was barely able to scratch the surface of what Chico has to offer.
On my way out of town I couldn't help but notice this amazing store which was just about to close shop for the day...
As I pulled up to the curb to inquire about their hours they encouraged my friend and I to come in and look around even though they were starting to put things away.
Excitedly, we jumped out of the car and made our way inside this remarkable shop.
Nantucket Home began in 1975 after owners Rick and Nan Tofanelli
returned from an inspirational trip to the island of Nantucket.
"We are an eclectic blend."
"We are traditional."
"We are inspired by the Asian arts."
"We are past, present and future."
"We are vintage."
"We can be contemporary."
"We are definitely transitional."
"We are Ralph Lauren, Shabby Chic & Thomas O'Brien all rolled into one."
"We are family."
"We are dedicated to our clients and the products we share."
"We are what you are."
"We are a life aesthetic."
"We are home..."
Nantucket Home is a full interior design studio, an area rug gallery and a sophisticated furniture showroom. If you can't make it to Chico you can visit Nantucket Home here.

Half of the things in that store are made in China. Is anyone aware of that?
What a beautiful store!
Anonymous-what proof do you have?? After reading this beautiful post, this comment is really rude, and I think it was meant to be, sadly.
My friend's son attends college in Chico, and they said they loved the town when they visit him. I can see why! Lovely post, thanks.
