The devil is in the details

I ran across this image over at the blog, Pink Wallpaper this morning, and was completely inspired.

Now I can't stop thinking of  finishing off the top  edge of the raffia wallpaper in our master bath/dressing area with something similar.

I think it might be too much around the doors and the baseboards but then again maybe not.

What do you think?

I love that detailing too Terri, but I know it would begin to fuss me eventually - so sad!

I really love it Terri! It is unique and grasscloth with the nail-heads would work for the bath!

Love it!! I have a similar idea pinned on Pinterest where they used upholsters tape beneath the nail heads. Only thing to think about it the dampness in a bathroom,(rust?) I would probably give them a coat of a clear finish to seal them before putting them in a damp area. I love this idea for your Master bathroom!

Love it!! I tend to like these kind of details done en masse but it obviously depends on your bathroom!!

Terri,

I have that exact Coach black tote! (my mother-in-law gave it to me a long time ago because she didn't use it much) It is great for traveling... and $15, what a deal!
