Picture This

I tore this page out of the recent Pottery Barn catalog when I noticed that they used nautical cleats and rope to hang and display the art in this room.

I love this idea and am thinking of doing something similar in the mancave.

I like the crispness and simplicity of the large framed photos without the shelves and other knickknacks.

What do you think?

Pottery Barn has some great stylists! I too prefer them without the shelves :)

I absolutely agree with you, this would look much better without the shelves! I love the idea of hanging pictures with the nautical cleats and rope...LOVE! Please post pictures if you do this, I would be interested to find out how hard it is to get them even and straight :-)

Wow, my brother did this several years ago in his art gallery. I loved it then and I love it now. Thank you for bringing back a fun memory. I love that you always inspire us. XO

This is so great, perfect for summer. Your idea of no nick nacks is a winner. Get out your powerdrill and level, there are pictures to be hung!!

Well spotted Terri! I just got a load of wonderful old cleats from my builder (he demolished a boat), you have given me ideas!
