OK, I admit I was proud but super envious of my mom's amazing HERMES scores a few months ago...
That was until today anyway!
While my poor sick hubby was home in bed with the flu, I stepped out to run some errands.
Of course one of my stops was the thrift store.
It was surreal finding this gorgeous, hardly worn, Hermes dress shirt that looked to be my hubby's size.
When I showed him, he got out of bed to try it on and it fit him like a glove! Suddenly he didn't look quite so sick anymore!
I swear, I'll never get over what people get rid of!
It's what keeps me on the prowl!

Another treasure found by the world's best treasure hunter. Since we are going to Paris in the Fall I would love to score a Hermes, blouse or scarf. I think I need to go thrifting more!! xo Kathysue

Score!
My favorite score ever was a man's Loewe alligator belt nearly new for $4. A good alligator belt is usually $375 new. You can always get them cut down by the shoe fixer.
Second best score was a brand new $400 Brooks Brothers waxed cotton jacket for $15 - men's large. Third best score was two George Jensen sterling dinner forks for ten cents a piece. Worth $175 each new. I sold them to a silver dealer. I still think the best deal I ever heard about was your striped linen sofa. Ann
Hello Ann!!
Thanks for sharing your best scores, I love to hear about great finds. I am totally into men's stuff lately and have found a Prada shirt, some alligator belts, Church's custom shoes, and Thomas Pink dress shirts and sterling silver cuff links. I love bringing home treasures to my hubby nd son.
Just nominated you for an award on my blog. Great post! Love these lamps.
