A cast iron club chair made from salvaged materials
(image via Design Sponge)
I picked up this set of vintage cast iron bench ends about a year ago. They were just too gorgeous to leave behind.
But they have been languishing in my backyard ever since.
That is until today when I came across this wonderfully creative repurposing of them on the blog, Design Sponge. And to think it was my first time there. You can be sure it won't be my last!
I love a good summer project!

You've very cleverly turned them into a chair, is that it? They were made to be a bench. I like it. Chic!
I'm sure they'll look great.
They will make any space look cozy and inviting when you're through working your magic on them.

Great find...can't wait to see when you finish!!
Once you pick up the chop saw Terri, you never look back!
I'm looking forward to the photos of you with saw in hand!
That is going to look fantastic! The bench ends are already showstoppers by themselves!
