I posted a while back about starting a gallery wall in my hallway...
I used my shell type tray as a center point and surrounded it with family photos.
I recently finished my second one and added it to the wall along with several other "pieces of art" I thought looked pleasing together.
It's definitely a work in progress!

This looks lovely Terri, I adore walls covered in loads of pictures and different frames - and so now we know where your profile shot comes from! :)
Hello Terri:
It may well, as you say, be work in progress but the result so far is utterly charming. We really do like the kind of eclectic mix which you have arranged here in your entrance hall which 'works' so very well, in our view, for the way in which certain items are connected thematically.
I love the mix of family photos, oil paintings, and the shell piece.
Looks great. Do tell the story about the hat. I love quirky things and personal meaningful art like that.
So lovely Terri...I love the shell shadow boxes.
A work in progress is always fun...especially when the things that you will be adding are based on memories shared with your family. Enjoy every minute of it!

Gorgeous shell collection! It looks so nice along with the other frames in the wall. Enjoy the lovely day, Kellie xx
Beautiful! Just found you through Pinterest. Love your blog.
Kim:)
Love the eclectic feel of your gallery wall...the shells and hat add such dimension...must hear about the hat!!
I Love decorating that looks aquired over time! May I ask what the basket is that has the writing on it???? I love that! The wall looks wonderful. XO, Pinky
How Spendid! You never cease to amaze me . Warmly, Redema
Lovely. Great idea for shell display, pulled off very nicely. So many gallery walls look too studied and amateurish but this is homey an beautiful. I'm going to borrow your shell idea, thanks!
Terri - love a gallery wall. Love that yours is "3D" with the shells and hat - adds such dimension and interest. So talented!!
Terri,
Yours is one of the best 'hall art displays' that I've seen in a long time. I was considering this in my long master bedroom hall until I realized I could make my ultimate walk in closet. It's not a through hall, but a very weird hall with two useless bi-fold closets in the dark. Will send you pics of the transformation.
Love your blog. I find much inspiration.
xoxo
Joanne
