What is it?
It's over a hundred years old,
and is hanging upside down.
Those are your only hints...
Good Luck!
I look forward to your guesses.
Tomorrow I will have my friend, Lisa, who is the owner of this exquisite treasure, reveal it's origins.

mmmm,...could it be the remains of a bridal bouquet from many years ago..? as part of a marriage dome decoration?
curious to know! hugs Colette ~ Afrique du Sud
Some kind of floral item I think. It has leaves.
H Terri,
It does look like a bouquet from years ago. Was it sprayed in gold leaf perhaps? It is a very interesting piece. I hope you had a good New Year's. I've been sick with bronchitis since New Year's Eve :( I'm hoping the year will turn out better than it has started for me.... -Al
A badly made crown...lol. I figured it was upside down and guessing it's something for an outside plant...rose bush? It's interesting whatever it is and can't wait to find out until tomorrow.
This is fun!
I thought possibly part of a bridal bouquet. I am excited to hear the history.

The suspense is killing me!!!
Was it a bouquet used at the coronation of a King/Queen/President/Prime Minister?

Her great grandmother's or grandmother's bidal bouquet.
A bouquet??? You are such a tease! :)
The bottom sticks are held together with a circle. These sticks might be stuck in the ground. What about a memorial bouquet at a cemetery? I like the leaves and flowers. Ann
