Walking in a Winter Wonderland

A visit to Orchard Nursery in Lafayette is a must during the Christmas Season.

It's chalk full of inspiration and has absolutely  anything and everything your heart desires!

Upon entering the first thing that greets you is the bulb section.

If the bulb you seek is not here... then it must not exist!

Moving on we come to the Holly Station.

Around the bend are the wreaths.

They were still setting it up when we were there.

My mom checking out the prices.

Off in the distance are rows of Christmas Trees.

A stroll around the grounds provides lots of artistic expression.

Imagine all of this with snow!

 But alas, this is California.

After strolling around the grounds we ended up back towards the entrance where the flowering bulbs and Christmas flowers are displayed.

 The cyclamen display.

Blooming paperwhites in all their glory.

My mom loved with this tree that is meant to hang on a wall or front door.

She's still thinking about it!

I hope you enjoyed this tour of Orchard Nursery.
It always takes my breath away!

Be sure and  come back tomorrow...
I'll take you inside. Prepared to be dazzled!

What a beautiful post! I did the same thing today and all the time was wishing I had my camera, like your beautiful nursery there was so inspiration everywhere I turned, one gorgeous thing after the other. I love those animal topiaries and your paper whites are way more in bloom than ours, must be the Cali sun!

I loved this post! I sent it to a few friends who are Christmas tree crazies! I can't believe you didn't buy one thing. You must have bought something for your Mom that you didn't want her to know about! How about more pictures of your Mom's decorations, or a history of some of her favorites. STill waiting for a post about you being a Shop Girl. Ann
