The Talented Mr. Carney

Last but not least I'd like to introduce you to the third man in my life, the 4th pair of eyes responsible for the eclectic mix of treasures to be found at The House of Hoarders

I met Jordan several months ago at an estate sale.  I saw him staring at my pile of goodies so I walked over to admire his.  I introduced myself and gave him my card with my blog info and said, "email me sometime".  Well suffice it to say, he did, and the rest shall we say is "history."

Jordan is the youngest partner in the shop and has been treasure hunting for most of his 28 years.

He grew up in the quaint summer colony of Twain Harte which is situated in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada in what is known as "Gold Rush or Mother Lode Country."

I think it is this background which brings so much history to his rare and unusual finds.

Here is a sampling of some of the treasures he currently has for sale at the shop...

Vintage photos

Vintage Designer Clothes

Vintage Lighting

Assorted vintage dolls

I think he's got some pretty cool stuff...

He brought this into the shop on Friday...

Any guesses who bought it?

Yep, that would be me!

Wow! That's some great stuff! The only downfall of being a shop owner that I found was that I wanted to buy everything! You got the best item!
He has great taste, lucky to have him in your shop.

He has some great things. I love those boots. Wouldn't they look great with a pair of jeans and a large sweater. A Ralph Lauren look.

I want those riding boots so bad I can taste it! I'd be like one of Cinderella's step-sisters trying on the glass slipper, though. But it might be worth a trip to the shop for a try!

That's a great tray Terri. I forget the correct term for them, (Butlers tray?) but it's gorgeous! Love the patina and it's shape!
