A Graphic Giveaway!

Pick a number... any number!

Allow me to introduce you to Ramsign, a Danish company, who is reviving the production of classic European street signs.

I don't know about you, but one of the first things I fell in love with on my first visit to Europe in 1977, were the enamel street signs.

I even bought a magnet of one at The Charles de Gaulle airport on the way home!

Since 1991, Ramsign and their skilled craftsmen have been producing by hand with the original stencil technique and porcelain enamel, an amazing array of traditional European signage.

They are generously offering one of my blog followers a chance to win one of these classic house number signs.

Here are some charming examples...

All you need to do is...

pop over to their website  and check out the wide range of styles and colors they offer,

and then come back here and leave me a comment telling me which one you would choose and where you would place it.

Be a follower of La Dolfina for one entry.
For extra entries blog, tweet, or put it on facebook, just be sure and let me know!

The winner will be chosen at random on July 19th.

I would like one of the signs that has the number plus the street name. Maybe blue and white. Our last sign was handmade of wood from Martha's Vineyard and just gradually fell apart. Spent the day with I <3 thrifting group in Denver. Had a lot of fun and found lots of bargains. Found a few pieces of hotel silver, just silverware, not the big stuff for my favorite dolfina. Ann

So glad to know about this company! I love the enamel signs of europe too. I also love the little oval signs on their website. My wheels are spinning as to where I can use these in my barn.

Thank you!

I would choose the last one, back background with street name, since our home is all white, with black trim. Very classy!

Hi Terri,
I definitely like the rectangular signs with the blue background. I'd like one with the number 50 as I turned fifty last month. I tried to find one in Europe but they didn't have that number. I just bought the number 15 for our street address.

Hugs to ya!

I would probably go with the blue and white Metropolitan House Number. We are painting our house this summer and it would be the perfect addition on our front porch. Thank you for sharing such a generous giveaway!

Ok that was fun! Had no idea they existed, so thanks for the send over to their site. My house has four numbers but I like the single numbers myself. I collect 5's because my sweet husband is the fifth in his family, kind of started when we were dating, he gave me my first 5 and it continued from there. I like the lighthouse style in blue & white, anything with a coastal edge is my choice. I will share on my fb page, not just for more chances to win, but I think my friends would enjoy knowing their site. Thanks Terry

I would choose the Engelhardt nameplate for our front door. It would also be fun to use them to number stairs or on an art wall...I would put 4 for my 4 daughters.

Love from Lori C.

I would select the Engelhardt nameplate as a very special housewarming gift for my step daughter and son-in-law. They moved to London as newlyweds and I miss them terribly. They have purchased their first home -here in the states! and will be coming home to gather with friends and family over Labor Day weekend!! As part of the reunion they will also be acknowledging the 10 year Anniversary of 9/11 as a close family member lost his life on that day. My step daughter was living in NY at the time as an intern and was part of the search group comprised of wives and friends searching for lost loved ones. Imagine how brave she had to be.. and she was! I thought the plate would be perfect to link this home to their lives and flat in London and to keep our chin up as to how much we miss them! I love your site for all you offer but mostly for the fact that it is a sign of the strength and love that mothers and daughters share. Thanks for sharing your discoveries!!
