The Show Must Go On!

The Alameda Point Antiques & Collectibles Faire was delayed a week due to unseasonable rain and though it was a bit light with less sellers and less buyers it was still a great show!

Here are some highlights seen through my eyes...

You might be wondering if I got anything...

Well,

My sweet husband found me the best glass float at The Pointe and said to me...

 Happy Anniversary!

"It's cheaper than a diamond".

I found my best treasure 29 years ago on
June 19th!

I love shopping vicariously through your eyes!! You are my texture gal!! That is for sure. I want one of the porcelain white letters, did they have a P?!!!! Love your new diamond. I am the same way, I would much rather have something for my home than a diamond, any time!!! kathysue

He does sound like a keeper treasure.

I can honestly say I have NEVER seen a show anything like that around me.

Fabulous! Love every single thing you have shown here. As an anniversary celebratory thought: research has recently found that when we look at things we consider to be beautiful, there is increased activity in the pleasure reward centers of the brain. Essentially, the feel-good centers are stimulated, similar to the stages of love and desire.” Lots of feel-good stimulation at The Point.

Wow! They had glass fishing floats!! Love them, of course! I really wanted to drive down for that, but I was committed to the Astoria Sunday Market. Will try to make it to the next one. It's 7 hours south of me. I know I need to bring my cargo trailer when I go!

And, love your anniversary gift! It's a beauty! :)

What a wonderful photo journey! I'm moving home Terri- I can't stand it any longer. (After Christmas)if I find a cool Victorian to rent. Wow those wine colored shutters. yumm
I love floats. There are some cool ones in the Antique store in Sunol. Very old and authentic. I just saw them this week-end. Very back of the shop on the left hand side facing out.

I can't stand it. The things you find. While it's always a pleasure shopping with you via your blog I can tell you that I'm tired and broke and there is no room to fit a thing more in this house!
