School's out for summer!
But my industrious son wants to attend both sessions of summer school,
so...
(not my son)
it's out of the dorm and into
his Fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon.
Check out these bad boys from last decade.
This will be his room in the Fall.
Supposedly it's one of the better ones on the main floor where the 2nd years live.
I must admit, I love the wall color!
His brothers are packing up and vacating and have sublet it to 3 girls for the summer.
The Sig Ep House burned down several years ago so they've been renting this small apartment house where each room has it's own kitchen, bathroom, and walk-in closet.
There are 3 brothers to a room.
I like it, especially after seeing a few of the others.
It's a bit more private located at the back of the house.
I think these fellows did a fine job on the interior design as well.
What do you think?
I know it's the end of the year but doesn't this kitchen look amazingly clean?
(My son Chris is on the right)
They filled the liquor bottles on the shelf with special fluid that glows when lit from behind by a black light.
This is part of the room he'll be renting for the summer.
This is a view of the common space.
I think I should check out a few thrift stores in the area and donate a new couch to these boys don't you?
I love this custom table!
It looks so civilized from the outside...
Good times!
It should be a summer to remember.

This is so funny! Oh to be young, 21 carefree and footloose....what I would give! Frat life in their eyes is probably akin to us decor and design fanatics living in the ultimate beach house, oblivion is bliss! Looks like they are in for one heck of a fun summer!!
Oh boy, brings back memories when one of our son's moved into his frat house up at Penn State. He lasted there one year, and then we made him move into an apartment. His grades were awful!
At least you know that he wants to get ahead of his work load by going to summer session.
Those were the days!
He will have a blast!

You crack me up Terri. Boy we could swap stories. My youngest son was/is an Alpha Gamma Rho. Oh the stories..and many I just refuse to listen to. I know in some cases, ignorance is bliss. Emily is an ΑXΩ at Washington State Univ. See our kids are even in the fraternal order at the same time. It's meant to be!! Now we just need to get them to meet. I'll email photos..hah! Your son is truly going to have a great summer.
Hugs to you,
xx Deb
