I've been dying to introduce you to my friend Catherine.
These are pictures of her space at The Alameda Point last weekend.
I saved her booth for an entire post...
because she is special in so many ways!
Just look at this stuff!
She and I actually meet treasure hunting about 2 years ago and there was an instant bond.
I've never met anyone quite like her.
You see, she uses both her left and right brain equally!
She's a nuclear physicist by day and an inveterate treasure huntress on the weekends.
She's all about Mid Century Modern and has an amazing eye and creative mind.
As busy and brilliant as she is at her job, one of the youngest women in her field, she's equally passionate about finding and re-imagining all kinds of incredible treasures.
She's constantly on the look-out for fanciful pieces like these to paint in vibrant colors like pink and orange.
A perfect example of her whimsical spirit!
She's the perfect treasure hunting partner and I adore her on so many levels.
Happy Birthday Catherine!
I love you!

When it comes
to decor, I'm
a follower, so
it's so cool to
see the flip side,
which is people
who are blazing
the trail for the
rest of us! How
fun that you two
found each other!

looovely! nuclear physisist by day? impressive!
oops. auto spelling is telling me i didn't even spell that right. :) ha!
Wow - are you kidding - a nuclear physicist??!! I wanted to be an architect and had my applications in and GREs taken and everything was in order but couldn't apply to the schools that required physics (calculus fine - physics no)!! But love her finds - when DOES she find the time!! Will have to check out her blog and shop. And happy birthday to her as well!!
Wow, Terri, thanks for the post! As usual, I love your photos! Also, thanks everyone for the comments and the birthday wishes! I embrace my third decade with open arms!
