Bella Notte, Blue Bottle & A Few French Treasures

After reading Trish's post on Linens to Dye For I headed over to the Bella Notte sale on Friday.

Tomorrow I'll show you what I got!

I went to The Point on Sunday to grab a breakfast pizza and to visit some of my favorite dealers.

My first stop is always Coco and Fred's space.

I look forward to seeing the new and wondrous treasures they bring from France each month.

The two of them are always the best treasures but

it's impossible to leave their space empty handed.

I left with a couple of the wooden corkscrews and those horn handled knives!

And then yesterday I discovered that Blue Bottle Coffee Co. opened their headquarters and roasting facility practically in our backyard!

We made a mad dash over to Jack London Square to check it out!

This is BIG!

We had our first taste several years ago in a warehouse in San Francisco and have been hooked ever since...

We have an odd but convivial little coffee kiosk in San Francisco’s Hayes Valley: 315 Linden Street, SF, CA 94102. We have a small menu of espresso drinks, drip coffee, our New Orleans iced coffee, a few cookies from the cute girls at Miette Cakes, and biscotti from Pizzetta 211. We offer beans to sell, dropped off Tuesday morning, Wednesday evening and Saturday morning. We use Clover organic milk, and organic sugar. Please drop by. M-F 7-5 or 6; Sat, Sun 8-5 or 6.”

It hasn't been easy to find until now...

We used to stand in long lines at The Ferry Plaza & Temescal farmer's markets.

And then discovered we could get the drip coffee at our local organic marketplace but having their coffee empire literally right in our backyard is a major coup!!!

Besides hosting an on site roasting facility and a cafe, the warehouse is draped with a gigantic Blue Bottle logo and is part of the most recent revitalization effort of the Jack London Square area.

So good!

This looks so fun! I think I am going to ring you on the phone. I seriously want to go up there for a visit. You always look like you are having the best time! And I think your photography skills have become to the point of professional now. :) I am enjoying your posts as I sit under a heating lamp getting my hair colored. Now THERE'S a picture for you!

Oh this makes me so excited! I have spent my lifetime going to Jack London Square. My parents loved taking me as a child and we've taken our children several times. I even rowed in a race (college crew team) there! I have never had this coffee(I don't drink coffee), but my hub and daughter's will enjoy trying it. When they tranfer to CSUSF I'm sure we will find ourselves at Blue Bottle Coffee Co. It's our kind of place.

I only recently discovered Belle Notte linens and they are wonderful. I helped my sister choose a bedding ensemble and she just loves their product and has remarked how well they have held up....and worn. Can't wait to see how you made out! I loved this post..I can almost smell the coffee being grinded, yummy...being a serious coffeeaholic, I think I going to go brew my latest fave.....Peet's french roast, I am addicted!! Can't wait to see your bedding!
