Thinking Ahead

OK, it's true...

My son is only a freshman in college...

but when I laid eyes on this beauty

all I could think of was how it would be the perfect "first piece" of furniture to have when he's out on his own.

It would be as wonderful in a studio apartment as it would in his dream home!

The exotic wood and glowing patina are amazing on this piece!

You never find things like this when you need them.

Wow! That is a gorgeous piece! I have done the same thing, my son, (21) is in the AF and just got back to the states and had to move off base. The only thing he had to buy was a bed, which made him quite happy. I have been picking things up here and there but nothing as beautiful as that.

Super gorgeous piece! Your son is very lucky to have a Mom like you. He won't have to do much, since you are the perfect interior decorator to have around :) Have a great day.

That is soooo sweet to be thinking of him! The bigger question is did you get it? Its a beauty and it would forever be a special keepsake as the first piece of furniture that you thought of him having well before he was striking out on his own. Such a lovely sentiment.

This is a very handsome piece. I hope you got it. Do you still have your first piece of adult furniture? I still have mine and love it. My parents were antique people and they got it and I fell in love with it, so now I have it. It will be the same way for Chris when you give him his first piece of furniture...maybe as time goes by he will give it to your future grandchild!!! How's that for something to think about!?! XO

Lovely piece with fabulous wooden pulls, for sure. This is a much better gift than anything purchased in new condition!
