I haven't had any of this...

For 19 days and counting!

That's right!  No white stuff!

And this morning I was even able to resist all of this goodness!

If you are familiar with Acme Bread Co. then you know what a feat this was!

They say it takes a full 2 weeks to break a habit,

or start a new one.

I'm not saying I'm never going to eat bread or white stuff again...

but I'm really into being "mindful" of what I put into my body.

It feels good!

Am I the only one who has managed not to break their New Years Resolution yet?

I neglected to tell you that the book I've been reading, The 4 Hour Body, allows me one "cheat" day a week.

The funny thing is that when that day rolls around I don't want to cheat.  Isn't that brilliant!

That bread is amazing! If I tell myself I can't have any then I want it for sure so I just eat what I want and I'm sure I look like it too.I do eat healthy and not a lot of treats but I would eat that bread with soup for sure.Good for you though~Cheers Kim

Since giving up 'white' foods, bread is what I miss the most, followed closely by pasta. Keep up the good work!

As I am reading this I am snacking on a cream filled donut. Now I feel really guilty. Good for you and I am so happy that you have been so good. Much healthier. Great job. Hugs, Marty

Hi Terri, I remember your gorgeous home, too from rms. Thank goodness there aren't any down raters in blog land! You have more will power than me not eating bread. Good luck!

Bravo, my friend! I don't make new year's resolutions because of the guilt and shame I feel when I break them. That bread looks divine and bread is my weakness. Good for you!
