Friday Finds

While out running errands I stumbled upon an impromptu garage sale.

Here's what came home with me...

An old Gillette Display Case dating from around the 1940's.

A wonderfully abused hotel silver double insulated creamer,

 a vintage sand pail shovel,

and an amazing old champagne flavored chewing tobacco tin from Piper Heidsieck.

But best of all were...

these wonderful pieces of Hometown History!

So cool!!!

Fabulous one and all! We probably should never go junkin' together, we'd want the same things. Love that map as well, I've got a thing for maps.

I love the Alameda Hospital cups. They are so sentimental to me personally as my two nieces were born there (@ Alameda Hospital.) (My auntie and mom also had their tonsils taken out there in the late 40's. Would love to give those as gifts.
