Love this warm and inviting look. I did a nature inspired look for the dining room last year. I will post that soon!! This year is a bit different. Having fun re-creating some old, some new, Fa-la-la- ♫ ♪ ♫
Not only does she make everything she touches just sparkle -- but I love those tips. Note to self - buy extra greenery to refresh mid month!

I agree, Carolyne Roehm's style is absolutely gorgeous. She also has(or had)a home in CT near where my parents lived and when I would visit I would always take a daily walk past her home just so I could enjoy the style of her home's exterior.
I love the mantle(above)and books. Those pinecones!

I love it! Though I do laugh that she titled it "au naturel".
I love the two evergreens flanking the fireplace in the first pic. So very au naturel. I would leave them just as they are.

FIRST, YESTERDAY'S posting on "The Lady C.R." left me almost breathless, as it is SOOOOO my/our style/love!!!
THEN, early this a.m. even MORE of this incredibly talented woman's "displays"... geez, how much more can I TAKE before my heart gives out???? (It's kind of EMBARRASSING to be DROOOOLING over my keyboard, too~ and especially at MY age!!!)...
Seriously tho, am sending MANY, MANY THANKS to YOU annnnd the "DIVINE MS. R"... Her approach to creating & sharing her very beautiful & welcomed preference for a more natural look speaks so highly of her and her personal style and most wonderful flair!!!

I'm with you - she is my style icon in terms of table top. The At Home with Carolyne Roehm is one of my favorite books I own. I featured her in my Thanksgiving post and will be in Christmas as well. I went to a party once in her spectacular New York apartment and she is lovely and gracious
