Last Night...

We had 2 couples over to dinner that we've wanted to have over for the longest time.

We all had a great time!

I think the week between Christmas & New Years is a perfect time to entertain.

How do you spend this special week?

This is so beautiful! And, yes, once we have our homes ready, why not have guests so they can enjoy everything along with you?

Your table looks amazing-I think I would just sit and stare at everything if I were there. We're having a girls night out tomorrow noght-dont know if that counts as entertaining!

I spend this week free-associating! I feel it's a good time to look at the bigger picture.

Very pretty table Terri, here the week seems quiet, alot of people have taken the week off work. Children seeing friends, we sleep in late, simple meals. Good to relax.

Your table setting is gorgeous! We spent last night with a couple that we've been trying to get together with for the longest time. I love the days between Christmas and New Year's.

What a lovely setting.

I have enjoyed my time off, spending time at the countryside, reading my favorite blogs, studying food, fashion and interior trends for 2011, enjoying the city, hitting the sales (I left Husband home, otherwise it wouldn't have been fun for neither of us...)...

New Year we will spend on countryside (though only 25 min from Helsinki) with friends. Looking forward to it, we always have he best time together.

Absolutely LOVE your dining room and table setting - just beautiful!! I have the same blue goblets that I inherited from my mother still in boxes - reminds me that I must unearth them - they look lovely!!

One of my MOST favorite things to do, and I don't do it nearly often enough, is to have a small group over for dinner. I love the sharing of good food, wine and conversation of substance, as well as lots of laughter throughout the evening.

Your table looks absolutely lovely. Thanks for sharing!

There is nothing better than entertaining. Feeding people & seeing the smiles on their faces as you share in each others company...simply the best. What a visual treat you put together for them. The table is just gorgeous!
