Crystal Fantasy

A GLITTERY DINNER
A magical, dazzling soiree with a modern twist, designed to last until the wee hours of the morning.

THE TABLE
A glittering combination of white, platinum, gold, silver, crystal and mirrors.  Scattered Swarovski crystals and silver-plated pewter candlesticks make the table look icy yet inviting.  Candlelight bounces off silver-painted branches studded with rock crystal, adding a cool shimmer.

THE MENU
Chilled potato soup topped with generous spoonfuls of caviar, fresh seafood (lobster, crab, salmon, oysters), lemon sorbet with a splash of ice-cold vodka, martinis, champagne.

This table is a stunner Terri! I would be so afraid to knock something over though. Talk about shattered! The menu does sound perfect for the table. I'll have a dirty martini please, with my chilled soup!
Thank you so much for your nice comment. Our book club was a total success, thanks to my husband's talent in the kitchen! Otherwise, we would have had pizza! Everything was perfect until Dexter lifted his leg on the Christmas tree. Seems he didn't like all the women in his house.
I'm still perusing your Welcome post. Your home is so elegant. I'm so glad I got to see it in person. You inspire me my friend in so many ways.
Love, Delores

I ate corn chowder at my kitchen island tonight, kinda feeling a little less than elegant.
