A Whirlwind Weekend

It was a great weekend for sports in the Bay Area!

We started it off Friday night welcoming home our son with friends and family and watching the Giants unfortunately lose Game 2 to the Braves.

We  headed to Berkeley the next morning to see our Bruins get mauled by the Bears but later watched Stanford beat USC  in an incredible match up.  We are hoping for the same fate for the Bears in the BIG GAME later this season!

We dropped Chris off at the Fiji Fraternity House where we later found out he and some other pledges had to find parking for the Sig Ep Winnebago and then jog several miles back to campus in time for the game!

All in all it was a wonderful Indian Summer weekend full of fun, fabulous food, tailgating, wins, losses, and new friendships.  We just took Chris to the airport and made it back in time to see the Giants beat Atlanta!   I am forever grateful for these treasured memories!
