Maybe those little aqua ones. You might not like them so much if you have to clean them, walk up them with loads of laundry, down them in high heels or compete going in either direction with dogs underfoot. They are especially wonderful when you lose your footing and tumble down them. A nice grand wide staircase would be nice and underneath them a small hidden elevator.
Ms. Therese Long, Don't run to fast to get the magazine I am only in the setting your sites featured on page 12. Yet it was so exciting to be approached and shocked that they contacted me and wanted to feature my blog site. I was so excited and for me it is a great stepping stone to show ones work and show off my blogger friends on my site.
I did make some etsy sells and orders on my signs ao that was the real excitement :) you know how that feels its the small joys that make our heart sing :)
I so love the posting you feature and am inspired by your passion girl! keep inspiring us:) we just adore you "T" xoxo Dore
Don't feel bad Terri, I have two staircases & both clad in ugly beige, nondescript carpet. Nothing fun, colorful or clever such as you posted. I loved this post!
I've been having a lovely time browsing your great blog! Thanks so much for stopping by mine so that I could find yours. Don't know how I could have missed it before now. As for these stairs, I'm like you, in my current home we're single level, but sometimes I fancy a stairway to nowhere just because they can look so fabulous.
I am a passionate treasure huntress addicted to "the thrill of the hunt." I pride myself on finding unique items and have spent a lifetime collecting unusual and interesting "treasures" which I have used in decorating our home. I shop with an eye for design and look for pieces that I like to call the "jewelry" of the room. Those pieces that have been around accumulating energy thereby bringing life into a space by telling its story or evoking a memory. The allure is found in the details of its journey... condition, provenance and patina. Our collected "treasures" tell the story of who we are. Billy Baldwin said it best, "Decorating is never successful unless it is personal." My treasures are available for purchase in my Etsy Shop and on my companion blog, Shop La Dolfina. The links can be accessed from my sidebar.
"All of life is about energy. It's about the energy that you're putting out; energy that you're drawing to yourself, every day, based on the way you think about your life & the actions that you take. Everybody is an energy field. And because of your attitude, your thinking, your actions; who you choose to be in the world, forms your own field. You are drawing into your field people who are like you... to remind you, to show you, to reflect back to you- who you are. Believe that or not, that is what is happening all the time... and it does not require your belief. It just is. It. Just. Is." -Oprah

they are fun to look at but not so fun to live with , up and down, up and down, up and down!! Great images,Kathysue
I do too but only so I can decorate them- I don't want to actually have to walk up and down them a million times a day ;)
Love the look, but don't want them anymore. I had them for too many years. Hugs, Marty
