He was a staff photographer of Vogue from 1959 until 1962 and at Harper's Bazaar from 1953 until 1959.

Happy Sunday Terri ~ sounds oh so sappy but for some strange reason photos like that make me happy. So fun to see & fantasize being one of those great ladies. Boy would I love to wear that suit in the second photo. Still so stylish today. I hope your weekend was a good one? Your son must be leaving for college in the next few weeks? Emily got moved into her dorm today..seems so surreal. Thinking of you & sending a big hug. xoxo deb
These photos are great! love the fashions and gracefulness in each of these - they'd look great as a collection framed on a wall :)
Everything is so classic and stylish. He captured images so wonderfully and they stand the test of time just like the fashions in them.
So lovely, I just love the style!

I am for certain, in l.o.v.e. with his work ...
do you remember Karen Graham ... the estee lauder girl for YEARS ...she was may favorite
Gorgeous. I wish they did more black and white nowadays. I couldn't even pick a favorite of these, they are all wonderful. I think the woman in the 2nd one kind of looks like a young Lauren Bacall.
Beautiful... an amazing photographer to say the least.

Hi Terri,
Many thanks for visiting me and I am happy to now follow your lovely blog. I have some little shell treasures of my Grandmothers, and will show them one day.
