I had a dress like that in my ball-going youth, complete with fishtail! I loved it.
I made something similar for my four-year old daughter's 'dressing-up', using coarse silver theatrical net for the fishtail. Well, it must have been stiffened with fish glue, because next morning the cats had nibbled chunks from it. I was cross but my daughter was thrilled: she said "they must have thought it was a real fish!"

Hate to be the only one, but I find this dress unattractive. The bra/corset look does not flow well with the remainder of the design.
