Tis the season! I am in the midst of making a shell art table for one of my best friend for her birthday in August! I make her something special every year. These are beautiful!!! XO
These are so cool! Wow, way out of the box! I won a nautical shell vase recently, and haven't been able to decide what to do with it, should I carry out the nautical theme, or let it sit on its own? This gives me some great ideas! XO!
Where do you find such amazing images ? You are truly a treasure hunter in every sense ! I am not selling at this Alameda ( maybe buying ? ). I will however, be selling at the new show at Candlestick on the 18th ... I would love to see you at either one ! If I don't see you Sunday ... have a spectacular 4th of July weekend ! XO! Lisa
This was just wonderful, such artwork. I have been in an underground pool grotto that had beautiful shell work. That is a real talent. The top image is gorgeous.. yvonne

I am a passionate treasure huntress addicted to "the thrill of the hunt." I pride myself on finding unique items and have spent a lifetime collecting unusual and interesting "treasures" which I have used in decorating our home. I shop with an eye for design and look for pieces that I like to call the "jewelry" of the room. Those pieces that have been around accumulating energy thereby bringing life into a space by telling its story or evoking a memory. The allure is found in the details of its journey... condition, provenance and patina. Our collected "treasures" tell the story of who we are. Billy Baldwin said it best, "Decorating is never successful unless it is personal." My treasures are available for purchase in my Etsy Shop and on my companion blog, Shop La Dolfina. The links can be accessed from my sidebar.
"All of life is about energy. It's about the energy that you're putting out; energy that you're drawing to yourself, every day, based on the way you think about your life & the actions that you take. Everybody is an energy field. And because of your attitude, your thinking, your actions; who you choose to be in the world, forms your own field. You are drawing into your field people who are like you... to remind you, to show you, to reflect back to you- who you are. Believe that or not, that is what is happening all the time... and it does not require your belief. It just is. It. Just. Is." -Oprah

Exquisite, especially the grotto! Can you imagine how cool one would be in the California heat? With a fountain, of course...
