I think these pictures are wonderful Therese, I so wish we celebrated in this way here in France. This sort of open and joyous underlining of the fact that your son has worked hard and succeeded is such a happy positive event. Even more so when it becomes a big family gathering like this.

You say baccalaureate? Is this common place in the states now? I didn't know the bac had crossed the atlantic except in the lycées français.

oo, for got to mention also, it must have been special to have the mass at the cathedral too. I love the new cathedral, and have gone there several times for mass.
