Today our son Christopher graduates from High School.
I knew this day would come.
A new journey awaits.
In the words of Dr. Seuss...
"You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself in any direction you choose.
You're on your own.
And you know what you know.
You are the guy who'll decide where to go."
Congratulations Chris!

Congratulations to your son Chris! I'm sure you are very proud! Our son graduated last Wednesday, he is my baby so it was bittersweet!

It is very exciting and bittersweet at the same time and it's so nice to have support and understanding for life's journeys from all of my wonderful bloggy friends.

congratulations to you and your son for reaching such a milestone. I do love Mr. Seuss, I never tire of hearing his wise words. all the best to the graduate!
What a special day! Congratulations!
Did you make the card? He must have felt extra special to have a personalized card! You're right, I'm pretty close to his age at (almost) 23, but my husband is a little older at (almost) 28! I think we both look younger than we really are though. Frustratingly enough, I get carded for everything, including buying spray paint for my projects! haha Will Henry's (my husband) brother has decided to go to UCLA as well, so chances of us running into each other have greatly improved!
Theresa I'm so glad I found your post on your son's graduation. June has been such a mad month but you've been on my mind. Em walked down that isle June the 4th & I'm still not use to the idea of her leaving home. Christopher is such a handsome young man & I can't believe we have kids the same age! Em would of LOVED going to UCLA. Now that reality is sinking in she's going to Washington State Univ., I think she regrets a bit not searching out more in CA. She slipped into what is comfortable & she had two siblings that have gone there. She already is worrying about missing the sun.
Congrat's to Christopher, to you dear mom and to your husband. You must be busting with pride?!! Must show Em Christopher's cute photo!
Such the perfect post ( :
