Graduation Day!

Today our son Christopher graduates from High School.

I knew this day would come.

 A new journey awaits.

In the words of Dr. Seuss...

"You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself in any direction you choose.
You're on your own.
And you know what you know.
You are the guy who'll decide where to go."

Congratulations Chris!

I hope you have a wonderful celebration today!

Congratulations to your son. Great quote from Dr. Seuss - we gave that book to all 3 of our kids as they went off to university.

Oh, i had a little pang in my heart.... a drop in my stomach when i read this! I know that these years go by SO quickly and that my boys before I know it will be graduating and leaving the nest....Congratulations to your handsome son...I know he will be a successful man because he has such a loving and supportive and proud mom. I'm getting up from my computer right now to go give my boys a big bear hug and treasure what little time I have before they become men and grown up!!! obviously i'm not ready ---hahahah......Congratulations!!!

Wow! Congrats...a true milestone for you both. Can not imagine how proud you must feel, and that it must also be somewhat bittersweet as well. Love the Dr. Seuss quote!

Did you make the card? He must have felt extra special to have a personalized card! You're right, I'm pretty close to his age at (almost) 23, but my husband is a little older at (almost) 28! I think we both look younger than we really are though. Frustratingly enough, I get carded for everything, including buying spray paint for my projects! haha Will Henry's (my husband) brother has decided to go to UCLA as well, so chances of us running into each other have greatly improved!

Theresa I'm so glad I found your post on your son's graduation. June has been such a mad month but you've been on my mind. Em walked down that isle June the 4th & I'm still not use to the idea of her leaving home. Christopher is such a handsome young man & I can't believe we have kids the same age! Em would of LOVED going to UCLA. Now that reality is sinking in she's going to Washington State Univ., I think she regrets a bit not searching out more in CA. She slipped into what is comfortable & she had two siblings that have gone there. She already is worrying about missing the sun.

Congrat's to Christopher, to you dear mom and to your husband. You must be busting with pride?!! Must show Em Christopher's cute photo!

Such the perfect post ( :
