Chinoiserie and Coastal are two words I use to describe my decorating style. Yesterday while out for a day thrifting in the wine country with my friend Michelle I came across a treasure that combined the two styles perfectly...
A vintage shell encrusted pagoda
that lights up!

oh my gosh! that certainly sums it up perfectly! what a fun find : )
I love it-great find!
I adore pagodas.....I love that Charlotte Moss used them as her logo for her short lived store in NYC. I have held onto her beautiful gray boxes with a white pagoda on them.
That is so fantastic I could eat it! I'd love to make it, own it, just stare at it forever. My two obsessions: aquatic life and chinoiserie! I love that it feels handmade without feeling too crafty. Delicious. I want to shop with you. Love what you and Eddie found.
What a delightful piece, I'd love to know how you're going to display this one!
