Dollar Days

At Target!

And it's all about The 4th of July

The minute I saw these patriotic decorations I knew they would be perfect for decorating my bicycle which I plan on riding over to my friend Gina's house to watch the annual 4th of July Parade.  It  goes right by her home on beautiful Grand Street in Alameda.  Every year she and her neighbors throw parties in their front yards and cheer the much anticipated "home town" parade!

Here's what I picked up...

I'm going to put these on my hand grips and use one for my pony tail.

I'll add these for extra sparkle!

I picked up several of these barrettes to attach to the bicycle spokes.

I'd like to wire this to the front of my basket

along with these flags, 2 on each side.
I think a white geranium in the basket would be adorable.

I'll need to find someplace perfect for this patriotic pinwheel!

This wind sock will go on the back

and these bright shiny stars on my side baskets.

I'm curious how many of you decorate your bikes for the 4th of July?  If you do, then get over to Target quick!!

Okay, you have the bike taken care of. I think a you need a Statue of Liberty Crown for your head! What about Latte'? He needs some collar bling.

Well, no one is going to call you "late" in planning your decorating strategies! You are ahead of the game, Therese! Some very good buys!

Hi Therese!

Oh, your bike is darling! You're going to look so spiffy pedaling over to Gina's.

But I really think you need a baseball cap shooting sparklers on either side. Only *then" will your ensemble be complete. ;-)

Hugs,
Anne

You are going to need to be part of the parade with your wonderful pimped up bike! I don't think any Canada Day here is anywhere as fun and flashy - just too subdued! Unless of course hockey is involved!! : )
Wish we had Target here so I wouldn't have to make my pilgrimage to Buffalo to shop at one (one of my absolute faves!)
