A Giveaway

Tea is a religion of the art of life.  ~ Okakura

So many of you have been incredulous and yet incredibly supportive of me in my quest to give up my addiction to coffee.  Well it's been close to 2 weeks now and I'm here to report that it's going great!  The headaches are gone, aspirin is no longer required, and my energy level is good.  In fact it's pretty much the same as it was with the coffee.  I do miss it though.  Psychologically it's been a lot tougher.  I love the smell, the taste, and most of all the ritual!  I've been thinking that perhaps, after a while, I might consider indulging in the occasional cup of coffee again, maybe on weekends.  We'll see.  Everything in moderation as my wise Grandmother always reminded me.

But what about tea?  Are any of you tea drinkers?

I hope so...  because I'm having my first Giveaway!

Tea Forté aims to capture the "Art of Tea". They have consulted with chefs and restaurateurs in culinary havens worldwide to create the most innovative and delicious blends of tea with whole leaf teas, rough-cut herbs and flowers. The pyramid infusers crowned with the signature leaf, combined with custom-designed accessories, elevates a cup of tea into an extraordinary experience for all of your senses.

The unique Silken-Tea-Infusers are individually hand crafted.  The open weave of the fabric allows the water to flow freely around the teas, allowing the tea leaves to unfurl and the flavors to mingle in the large open form of the infuser. It's like brewing a pot of tea in your cup!  Unwrap the protective cover and stand the infuser in your cup. Pour boiling water in and tea starts to brew, the infuser maintains its elegant form, and the upward lifted leaf and cotton stem creates a handle.

The  cafe cup is an elegant porcelain teacup ensemble.  The custom cover keeps the tea hot while brewing and reveals the signature leaf.

The ceramic tea trays for serving the silken tea infusers and for after brewing to catch the drips.

The maple serving tray designed to generously hold a cafe cup and a tea tray with room left for a treat.

The Giveaway will include 2 sets of maple serving trays, 2 cafe cups with lids (boxed), 2 ceramic tea trays and 11 silken tea infusers.

2~ a refreshing herbal tea (caffeine free)
2~ bergamot infused black tea (contains caffeine)
3~ currant infused black tea (contains caffeine)
2~ green tea with flowers (low in caffeine)
2~ a soothing herbal tea (caffeine free)

I am not a big tea fan but I am a big fan of yours. You have kick started my obsession with all things to do with the ocean. It first started when I saw your home on RMS, now I am addicted. I cruise ebay looking for my next fix lol. I live in the midwest so there is not a lot of ocean stuff around. See what you have done to me! But I won't give up my coffee for tea:)

OK then, Mickey, if you win this giveaway I will send you something awesome from the sea!!!

I just became a follower. I love tea! It is what I drink all day at work, instead of coffee, soda, water. Thanks!

I grew up drinking tea. I drink more coffee now but still love my super hot cup of tea. For some reason a cup of tea goes better with a good book too.

Tea forte's presentation is very nice I've given it as gift.

I'm a follower aren't I?

Hi! Thanks for the sweet comments on the blog, I will send you the directions - are you anywhere close? I am a follower, and also a fan of Tea Forte' - love the presentation and also love a great cup of tea. Am a total tea drinker at night, in the afternoon - and simply when I am trying to wind down. Thanks again!!!!

Hi fellow tea lover! This looks wonderful and I would LOVE to WIN!!! I also have to be careful of my coffee consumption, but I would HATE to give it up completely. Someone needs to develop a candle that has the fragrance of fresh-ground coffee, since that is such an important part of the coffee experience! Still, a very hot cup of tea with milk can put me in the right frame of mind ~ morning, noon or night (as long as it's herbal after 7PM!). What a generous giveaway....xx P&H

Good for you for giving up coffee! I need to do the same, but haven't been able to cut it out completely. I also LOVE tea and enjoy the ritual of tea drinking. I find it so very relaxing. I have not tried Tea forte yet, but would love to. Thank you for having such a great giveaway! I discovered your blog about a month ago and have enjoyed following you on your treasure hunts.

I could never, ever give up coffee - I'm considering a permanent iv port at this point. But I do love a good cup of tea in the evening, this sounds wonderful. I'm a follower, and I just put a link to your give a way on my blog. Kathy

Therese; First & foremost 'way to go'! Not easy giving up anything we love. Like I said before I don't like coffee but sure do love the smell. You could snack on choc. covered coffee beans but I guess that defeats the purpose. I'm like a dealer, shameful...
I LOVE this giveaway. The tea looks so beautiful packaged, and really like the cups, and accessories. You are wonderful. Count me as two entries because I'm a follower and always will be! Love you and your blog x

After spending time in Ireland and UK, I've taken a new liking to tea, even though coffee is a nice treat.
love your blog - I'm a new follower! : )

You're doing great. I love my coffee in the mornings, but I don't think it's for the energy, I just love the taste. And, yes, my daughter, my girlfriends definitely drink tea in the afternoons, it's a lovely time of day to just stop for awhile. I've just discovered this incredible tea, called Matcha, it's green tea leaves which are powdered...it is beautiful, and you get all the benefits of the actual tea leaves themselves.

I used to drink coffee, but my body couldn't handle it. I now drink a cup of black tea w mild and love it.

Love this giveaway too!

Glad you are feeling better.

I am already a follower and a BIG tea drinker so please, Giveaway gods, let me win. You will feel better by the week without coffee. I love the smell and the taste, but after years and years of no coffee it feels totally toxic in my system. Plus one week of coffee and my skin looks horrific, even with lots of water. Dr. Perricone explains why in his book. The mirror was enough evidence for me.

Great job for kicking the habit!

Oh definitely I am a follower of your delightful blog -- it is like my second cup of "tea' in the morning. Have to read your blog along with just a few others too, always lovely content you provide. I was a big coffee drinker and sort of quick but replaced my habit with a pot of tea. Love the smell and the taste of freshly brewed really good blend of coffee -- oh dear --I can taste it now.. I limited my coffee to the occasional cup when I am out and about -- it got easy when my coffee maker broke I just did not replace it.

I'm a coffee addict (big sigh). It's the ritual, and hugging that hot mug for me. When I was trying to conceive (given a 5% chance) one of the things that had to go was the coffee. I filled my morning commute go-cup with herbal tea. Eventually I enjoyed that hot fruity beverage. You can do it!

i am so sorry but i cannot help at all. i am, and always will be a coffee drinker. i am happiest in the morning... in my bed with a fabulous hot cup in my hand ... but i will tell you, i used to drink more and have really cut back. i try for one cup a day... sometimes.... i might do another. i have gone a month with out it (for a cleanse) and 7 days (another cleanse) and do drink green tea or decaf tea... but i just miss the smell, the taste, the ritual... it is my comfort.
