What's on top of your refrigerator?
This is our original kitchen which we have tweaked over the 25+ years we have lived here. We reconfigured the opening above the refrigerator by removing the cupboard doors and outfitting the interior with slanted shelves for wine storage. When we upgraded our refrigerator we bought this counter depth stainless steel model to give it the look of a "built in". I'm curious what you do with the space on top of your refrigerator if it's not built into the cabinetry.

Love the wine storage. So pretty. YOur roosters look just as cute as can be. I have a tureen and a rooster on top of mine. Anything big gets put up there. No where else for it to go. Hugs, Marty
Our refrigerator top is kept pretty simple: just one black tray (in reverse as a riser) with one over sized black bowl. One other time I reused 3 glass cylinders filled with lemons.... real ones.
That didn't didn't last long. I'm too short to keep up THAT change!!
Thanks for stopping by the FP!!

Chicken and wine... same thing I have on my fridge! Only mine's a more country folk art style and my chicken is painted wood - no feathers. My friends with wine fridges probably think we're barbarians for keeping our wine up there, but we drink it fast enough that I don't think it matters!

Same here!! Most of the time it never even gets put up there. In fact, I'm not sure what those bottles are :)
Boring little cabinets above. I like your restyling of removing doors and turning into wine storage or maybe just have an open shelf.

Terri, this is so cool. I have a cupboard above mine where I keep all my larger serving bowls, punch bowl , trays etc. Right now on top is my camera and a flash light but you really can not see them. It is a little no man's land up there. Your vignette is so pretty, now I want to see some frigescaping, hehe! Have a great day!! xoxo Kathysue
We have a small built in shelf, way up high, its painted blue in the back to highlight the white creamers and pitchers on it...including a white cow creamer in the middle. Seems like we could start a fridge farm together!
very nice!! I like the bottle holder behind! Even from the little section that you photographed, your home seems so warm and cozy!
The top of the fridge is always hard. I have my vintage cake stands on top. But I like what you have done. Thanks for dropping by Beach Vintage.
Dust.
but seriously, yes, probably dust, and a cabinet with stuff i never use is up there!! I love those chickens, and that herb jar is awesome.
ps. i think that adidas watch might still be at Nordstrom, that's where i got it, although it was last year. Been off the computer since yesterday and I feel like that's a century and haven't "talked" to you in so long!
I have a tiny little alcove that is lit. And I love it. But I will admit that I am very frightened to peak up there and see all the dust :)

Hi Terry! Long time!! I will have fun in NY for sure!
ok -my Fridge has Italian pottery from my trip to Italy - right off the streets of Portofino..not even sure it looks that good, but the sentimental value is there...oh, and I'm sure...lots and lots of dust!
Inside, my fridge is looking much better, thanks to Kathysue's fridgescaping blog!!
ha
have a great weekend xoxo
This looks very nice! I fortunately now have cabinets above! And, I love a clean front!!!
