Junior Prom

The closest thing I have to a daughter is my beautiful niece Sarah.

She's going to the Junior Prom tonight!

Her Dad, my brother, told her she couldn't go to the "After Party".

Maybe next year Sarah... you're just a sophomore!

Oh to be sixteen again!

Terri, she is gorgeous and your brother is so handsome. You have a great gene pool going there my dear. I agree, Oh to be sixteen again. That is how old I was when I fell in love with my hubby. Oh such sweet memories. Hope you are having a good weekend. I did some shopping at Home Depot and bought some boxwoods. They will go into the ground sometime this week. TTYL Kathysue

She looks really gorgeous. Great dress and fantastic choice of necklace too. Can understand why Dad said no to the after party!

She's just gorgeous, what beautiful eyes! Love the dress she chose. Daddy looks very proud, but I'm with him on the afterparty. Cait wasn't allowed to attend the after party until her Senior year - tell Sarah that it didn't kill her:)

Look at that gown! Such amazing taste at such a young age...she is lovely. I don't blame your brother at all re: after party, he sounds like a great Dad. Hard to believe my oldest will look so grown up in just 6 short years...it all goes too fast.

Your niece is absolutely beautiful. And how wonderful that her family is watching out for her. I am just back from France and wanted to let you know that you won the silver napkin ring from the Cannes brocante! I am thrilled that you discovered my blog because it has led me here and I just know I am going to have many happy reads here--I checked out the post on your amazing Chinoiserie fireplace!!! Congratulations on your win!
