Kelly Wearstler's Greyhounds!!
At first there was only one, but just around the corner we found his mate!
My Mom said, "get them"!
What do you think, should I keep them?
You know how it works, you buy them, then you think about it.
I was thinking about putting them in my backyard. They just look like they belong with the black & white tented pavillion.
I'd love to have your opinion.

Wow, your back yard is gorgeous! I think they would look fabulous in either location. Great find!
Your back yard is INCREDIBLE. I LOVE that tent! whoa! I think they will look great no matter where you put them. Great find. And your mom is really pretty!!!
Oh I would definitely keep them and you can put them in either place and it would be absolutely stunning. What a great find. Hugs, Marty
Firstly, your mom is the cutest! Secondly, your front entry is so charming. I love the numbers on the lantern and the bell(?). Very whimsical and creative. As for the stately greyhounds, I'd say they are keepers for certain, play around with them and see where they work best. Are they outdoor safe? Your climate is pretty temperate, is't it? Great buy!
how could you not keep them? awesome for the pavilion. do you have real dogs? xo kitty
Is that your back yard and front door? Or a magazine spread? Oh wait. Your the one with the amazing Missoni scarf pillows...right, its yours...and look at your stylish mom!? Goodness, how I am supposed to focus here. I am confident they will work wherever you place them, you seem to have the "touch".
PS, have same front door lantern...may need to steal that number idea...its amazing!
I think they fit right in wherever you decide to place them. Near the front door to greet guests would be awesome. HomeGoods rocks, doesn't it? And now that it's on my mind, I'll be obsessed until I get there again... but my weekend is already too busy! (funny how I have time to blog...)
By all means keep them girl...How cool are those I love them...will they go on each side of your fireplace...they would love wonderful by your front door...Be sure and post pictures to show them when you do place them...Your Mama is darling girl...Hope you have a GREAT weekend my friend...Hugs and smiles to you Gl♥ria
Your yard makes me GREEN WITH ENVY!!! Beautiful. Gorgeous. And your mom is super duper cute.
Keep the dogs. They belong to you! Have you named 'em yet?!?
GET OUT! I think your Home Goods is better than mine. You lucky girl, those were a find!
HomeGoods is the best! I just became a FAN of theirs of Facebook... ha!
Oh, I'm turning so GREEN here! What an amazing find! Absolutely keep them. And just think, the vet bills will be nonexistent! I think they would look great in either location, but I'm leaning toward the entrance. Make sure to show us what you do with them. Kathy
Looks like they would be at home in either place. I'm thinking the pavillion for summer and front door for winter so you can dress them up with some fabulous collars your sure to find or in the very least huge bows.
Keep them! I'd put in the entry way...it's gorgeous, but the dogs would make it over the top...really whetting the palate for what's to come inside & outside! As for the backyard, it's amazing without the added touch and I have one consideration if they went to the backyard...where would you put them so that they don't get knocked over? Fabulous find!!
Good thing you and your lovely 'Mom" got there first. I had a mini greyhound -- and what a treasure he was.. sad to lose him
Greyhounds have an interesting history -- only dog ever to be mentioned in the bible- long association with royalty in Ancient Egypt and royalty of Europe.
Just musing and a little trivia.
They are a very social dog so greeting people by the front door would be apropos.
You can always mix it up and move them around for the seasons.

Fabulous find! Keep them for your backyard which is gorgeous. this will just bring them deliciously over the top. Love them. XO
Just found your blog. I loved looking at your past Alameda trips. I am in So.Cal, and I have never been. But, I see we have a favorite vendor in common! About your new find- they would look great anywhere, I do love the back though. They would be a fabulous finishing touch.
La D -- You must keep! think how great they'll be during the holdiays with greens around them. Great find.
Thank you everyone for chiming in on my Home Goods find. It looks like they are keepers!! Also I appreciate the kind compliments about my best friend and partner in crime, my Mom. She never says NO to me when I ask her to come on my treasure hunting adventures. At 75 years of age, I think it's one of the reasons she stays so young!!
Great find!!! Which HG is in the Bay Area?
xo,
cristin
I meant to say... which of the HG stores in the Bay Area had these pups?
Terri, Oh my!! Yes,yesy, yes Keep them and I know you will let the dogs tell you where they want to be. I think the only thing you have to worry about is keeping them away from the dalmations so they won't get in a dog fight, hehe. Love them they are so you and gorgeous for your perfect home. Your backyard is truly amazing, I am dying for the pavillon. The mirror should have been in my mirror post it is perfection. Hope you are having a great weekend.xo Kathysue
Hi Cristin,
The greyhounds were living at The Moraga Home Goods.
If you ever decide to make a trip there, let me know and I'll meet you there and we can grab a coffee at Starbucks after :)
LOve your black and white backyard.Keep them , they are wonderful and wherever you put them , they will look terrific
What a fabulous find.
They are totally and politely, barking "can we have a home in the front please?"... oh yeah, deffo the front. :-)
Keep..keep..keep, and still in a quandary about their location, move them around..ha! You have that fabulous Z Gallerie pavilion (?) that I have long adored...ugh!! Your home is gorgeous Therese and your mother is too. xx
Happy Spring-is-in-the-air to you! No Home Goods store in sight in the entire WA state. (Between your and A Perfect Gray's posts, I am about to have a nervous breakdown. I so miss Home Goods!!!). Keep the the dogs! 150%absolutely yes! And Mom is a keeper too! (:
ox, Mon
I just found them too at Home Goods! Well, just one but mine is plain without the tassels...but I love the tassels...so cute! You definitely have to keep them. They would look fab either place-front or back. If the pups reside on your patio you'll have your own mini Viceroy Hotel in your backyard.
