Happy March

I thought I'd usher in the month of March by sharing some photos I took last year at the annual "Bouquet to Art" exhibit held at The DeYoung Museum in San Francisco.  If this doesn't get you in the mood for Spring...  I don't know what will!

Look what I found at Home Goods

Kelly Wearstler's Greyhounds!!

At first there was only one,  but just around the corner we found his mate!

My Mom said, "get them"!

What do you think, should I keep them?

You know how it works, you buy them, then you think about it.

My Mom thinks I should put them in my front entry.

I was thinking about putting them in my backyard.  They just look like they belong with the black & white tented pavillion.

I'd love to have your opinion.

This ship was built by one his Grandfathers who was a ship's carpenter.

I recently had the pleasure of spending a lovely afternoon with a dear friend who shares my passion for all things nautical.  These are photos of some of his most cherished possessions, many of which were passed down to him by his Grandfathers.  The last 2 photos are of the antique microscope that one of his Grandfathers used to study the diseases of oysters.
