The Definition of Laundry

Image via Trouvais

Laundry is so much easier these days...
especially since I bought this great new industrial hamper from Restoration Hardware

I love how they are bringing it back into the modern laundry room.

 It's available in 3 sizes

Thankfully the smallest size worked perfectly for us since we don't have a laundry room.
We have a laundry closet!

Another space saving find of late are the new 3-in-1 laundry sheets!

I don't know how I ever lived without them!

They go from the washer into the dryer.

And voila, a fresh load of laundry is ready to carry into my room to fold and put away.

We recently updated our little laundry closet.
We removed the upper cabinets and found the laundry definition at wonderfulgraffiti.com
I find the whole experience of doing the laundry so much simpler and more enjoyable now with less stuff.  We are looking forward to buying new front loading machines so we can eventually add a counter across the top to give us more flexibility for folding and ironing.

Will you marry me? Oh my god. You are a dream come true. How did you discover such a beautiful wall for a laundry closet? I wouldn't ever shut my doors. You are truly amazing and gifted.

Hi Therese. Glad you liked my photos and thanks for the link. I also came across a cute laundry shuttle at Siena in Petaluma last fall (photo was too fuzzy)...everytime I find them they're already sold or not for sale. Pretty laundry rooms are overlooked treasures...love your walls! Trish

I'm such a lucky girl to get to see it in person and yes it is that lovely.

Love this! I have a similar space for laundry at the top of the stairs and I think mine just needs a bit of attention and a pair of new front loading machines. Thanks!

Love the cart, the "closet" is beautiful as is the rest of your home. I've been
crooning for a canvas or a vintage round wire style laundry cart. My wish list also includes a commercial Jiffy steamer and steam board.

Love the baskets and the light fixture how fun!! I have a Laundry closet also but I have named mine the Laundry Pit,xoxo Kathysue
